In a past, distant life of mine I was once an interior designer… or maybe I really wanted to be one lol  Although I love love love beautiful architecture and well designed spaces, sadly I am no good at interior decorating myself.  Thankfully there are some people out there who are so unbelievably gifted for this artistry and Kate Jung, the owner of Noble Design Group is one of them.   When Vasili and I photographed a family and their newest addition last month, I couldn’t stop raving about their daughter’s room.  Mama said she couldn’t take all the credit and that this amazing interior designer was the one responsible for this etherial-inspired nursery for her little one.  And this is how I met Kate.  Kate is an interior designer from Texas who moved up here recently to continue her passion for home design and has now discovered her love (and talent!) for turning the awkwardly shaped, teeny tiny spaces that us city dwellers are used to living in and creating these beautiful, homey and functional spaces for infants and children.   Here is a peek into how she utilized the space in this Gold Coast condo to design the perfect nursery for baby Sofia.  As soon as Vasili and I have a home you can bet I’ll be having Kate over for some help and also her good company :)  If you are looking for a professional to help with your home design needs, big or small, lavish or simple, do yourself a favor and contact Kate Jung with Noble Design Group.

(I’d also like to end this by saying that I don’t accept paid advertisements and that referrals from me are purely because I believe in the products or vendors I share with you)

As some of you may know, I’ve recently undertaken rebranding my business to better represent myself as providing both doula & photography services, as well as an image that was more reflective of my style and personality (that and the fact that I found 3 other photographers with my previous business name).  One of the things on my to-do list included getting new business cards made.  I knew I wanted to get something that was both professional and ‘me’ – classic and simple.  Of course I had to have the best so I wanted the Mandate Press to make them, which is a company who does real-deal letterpress with their products.  If you need some letterheads, business cards, or any other printing services check them out!
