FAQ

Do I need to bring anything to my session?

For any simply by suzy session, all you need is you.

Be prepared to laugh, play with, smile, kiss and hug each other at your Simply by Suzy session. Vasili and I have had our own pictures taken before, so we totally understand some times it feels a little silly or even embarassing to be in front of the camera. But no worries, you’re in good hands. All we ask is that you trust us and let down those walls so your beautiful, playful, loving self can really shine through for us to capture.

Do you have a studio?

No. Part of the unique experience we offer to our clients includes us coming to you. We will hold your session in either your home, an external location or a combination of both (weather permitting).

If I’m having a newborn session, when is the right age to have my baby photographed?

The best time to have your newborn photographed is between 7 days and 6 weeks. When having your pre-session consultation, we’ll ask you some questions about what you hope for us to capture and based on that vision we will make a recommendtion for exactly when in that time frame we should hold your own little one’s session.

Do you photograph anything else besides mamas and babies?

Of course! In addition to maternity and baby sessions, we photograph children, families, births, and love of all kinds. We also take on a select few weddings each year in order to give the level of creativity and attention that we believe each deserves, and are available at any time for travel at both national and international locations.

Am I able to purchase a DVD of digital files to make prints on my own?

Yes. And while we primiarily shoot with film (yep, the old school kind. We’re talking 35 mm, manually winding the camera, the whole 9 yards), we have all our images developed and scanned by a professional lab into digital files that may be printed from just like you would with any image file from your digital camera.
