I spent a large portion of today getting to know a local photographer who was kind enough to ask me if I’d lend a pair of hands to her for a twin newborn session. I happened to have the day off so I decided to tag along and it was such a blast! Julia is new to the area and I’m happy to now be able to call her a friend

Vasili and I spent last weekend photographing this sweet pea whose parents just moved here all the way from the UK! Thanks baby Owen for being so good for us!
This little girl was a whopping 4 lbs and 12 oz and full of smiles & love! Because of her tiny size, I had envisioned nothing but pink and dainty for her very first photo shoot and I’d say it suited her just right. Congratulations to her family and welcome to the world baby Isabella!
This family and I got up early this morning and hung out all by ourselves in a tiny haven secretly tucked away in the city… We had hot chocolate, read books, and just enjoyed the peace and quiet. This was also a special occasion because we were celebrating the fact that a new addition will be made to this family next month – a baby sister for Jonathan! When we asked him what he was going to be when his little sister arrived, he answered “A hug.” Ugh. Jonathan you know just how to melt my heart!
At one point we pulled out Scrabble to play a game. We opened the box only to find this note that someone had left behind… LOL!

Suzy also received her MPH in Public Health while focusing much of her studies on Maternal/Child Health in addition to being a certified photographer for Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep.
