Meet baby Zevi, who was so excited to meet his mama & papa that he came 6 weeks early!  Though as you can see, even at 3 weeks old Zevi was still so teeny tiny <3 Congratulations little Z, Vasili and I are so happy we got to meet you and that you are now safe and sound at home!

Also, speaking of Vasili, I wanted to thank him immensely for helping me out with this session.  As most of you already know, Vasili helps me photograph our weddings that we book and now we’ve both discovered how much of a big help he is with my newborn sessions as well.  Honestly since he has been assisting me at my baby shoots, my images have exponentially improved and I feel as though my artistic vision is finally coming to life thanks to him – a balance of both newborn portraiture of those dreamy, sleepy poses in addition to some lifestyle images of baby connecting with family.  It’s not perfect, I’m not the best, but it’s not about capturing perfect images for me … it’s about capturing perfect moments.
